Cochem Castle, perched high above the picturesque town of Cochem in Germany’s Moselle Valley, is a captivating medieval fortress with a history that dates back to around 1100 AD. This imposing structure, also known as Reichsburg Cochem, is renowned for its dramatic setting, overlooking the winding Moselle River and offering breathtaking views of the surrounding vineyards and countryside.
